The Keith Haring Foundation was established in 1989 to assist AIDS-related and children’s charities, and maintains the largest resource of archives on the late artist, Keith Haring – father pieces of pop art you all will recognise.
And I love his car.
I was visiting this vintage market on Brick Lane the other day. Had a conversation with this guy about interesting clothes to wear, like these mad pair of boots he actually was selling but unfortunately didn’t fit me.
It took me a good amount of time before I noticed that he was wearing clothes older than myself, including a top hat! Surely, being so confident in his own style that strangers don’t even notice him dressing a bit different is pure TrendGiveAfuck!

I’m taking classes in communication and oral presentation, and recently I did a speech on the benefits of style. Writing the speech forced me to really dig in to this topic and think about why style is important. I found several good reasons for finding your own style and putting it on display, but for now I just want to share a really nice quote by American author Gore Vidal.
“Style is knowing who you are, what you want to say, and not giving a damn.”
I am very confident in saying that you, dear reader, has played some Nintendo games in the past. Don’t say you’re not a geek, you might get surprised at how many songs you remember from retro games 
Still, you’re not a geek, you’re a video gamer. And 8-bit music is sweet!

New Look posts these ads little here and there in London, telling you to be the trend by buying their simple outfits.
I found this ironic.
Why? First, you are not starting a trend by buying something that already exists, you are following one.
Second, many, many people seem to think that the words “trend” or “fashion” go together with “uniqueness”.
Fashion is a general term for the style and custom prevalent at a given time (Wikipedia), a Trend is a line of general direction of movement, a line of development, a prevailing tendency or inclination, an emerging style or preference, or the general movement over time of a statistically detectable change. In short, “trend” is a synonym of “tendency”. (Wikipedia).
That is, neither means that you have your personal style. The only way of “being a trend” is to be a “trend setter”, but in a way, even that is a paradox, for having trend followers in a way kills your own style. We at TrendGiveAfuck will have a problem with this in the future, but we will minimise this problem by continue wearing ANYTHING
